Qinso / Break Down

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the current iOS version of Qinso handles information. The App is designed around calm, local gameplay: it stores progress, settings, and optional record-card images on your device in the current version and is not designed to upload that gameplay data to us during normal use. This Policy is written to reflect transparency, access, correction, deletion, security, and consent principles commonly expected under laws that may apply in places such as California, Canada, Singapore, and Australia.

1

Scope of This Privacy Policy

This page explains how information is handled in the App's current version.

This Privacy Policy applies to Qinso and the current Break Down branded iOS experience. It describes information that is processed locally by the App on your device as well as information that we may directly receive from you, such as support emails. It is based on the current build behavior, where gameplay is primarily local and offline from our perspective.

If future versions add online accounts, cloud saves, analytics, ads, AI features, or third-party SDKs, we may update this Policy before or when those changes go live.

2

What Data We Handle

Most gameplay data in the current version stays on your device.

Data handled locally by the App

  • Gameplay progress, such as completed levels and your selected or suggested level.
  • Local settings, such as sound, haptic, hint, and animation-speed preferences.
  • Completion card details created by gameplay, including level title, completion time, and optional local image filename references.
  • Optional record-card images that you personally select through the iOS photo picker.

Data we may directly receive

  • Your email address and the contents of messages if you contact us for support or privacy requests.
  • Any attachments, screenshots, or device details that you voluntarily include in your email.
  • Any follow-up information needed to verify and respond to your request where legally appropriate.
In normal gameplay, the App is not designed to send your local progress data or selected completion-card images to us.
3

How Data Is Obtained

Information comes from your direct use of the App and your direct communications with us.

  • Gameplay and settings data are created locally as you use the App.
  • If you choose a completion-card image, the App receives only the image you select through the system photo picker. The App is not designed to scan your full photo library.
  • If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send.
4

How We Use Data

Data is used to operate the local game experience and to respond to you.

  • To save and display local gameplay progress, settings, and completion cards on your device.
  • To attach an image you selected to a local completion record card.
  • To respond to support, legal, privacy, or accessibility questions that you send to us.
  • To protect rights, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations where applicable.

Depending on your jurisdiction and the specific processing activity, the legal basis for handling information may include your consent, our need to provide the feature you requested, and compliance with applicable legal obligations.

5

Storage and Retention

The current version follows a local-first storage model.

In the current version, gameplay progress and settings are stored locally on your device. Optional record-card images you select are also stored locally on your device until you delete the relevant card, reset progress, remove the App, or otherwise clear local app data.

Support or privacy emails that you send to us may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, keep a record of the request, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.

6

No Sale, Sharing, or Behavioral Tracking in the Current Version

The current build is intentionally narrow in what it does with personal information.

  • We do not design the current version to sell personal information.
  • We do not design the current version to share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • We do not currently describe any account-based social feed, public profile, or online leaderboard in the app build reviewed here.
  • We did not find advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDK declarations in the current code and Info.plist reviewed for this draft.
  • The current version does not include AI functionality.
7

Regional Privacy Rights

Your rights depend on where you live and on the information we actually control.

Because most gameplay information in the current version remains local to your device and is not normally transmitted to us, some privacy rights are often best exercised directly on your device by deleting a card, resetting progress, or uninstalling the App. For information that we do directly control, such as support emails, we honor applicable legal rights to the extent required by law.

California

To the extent California privacy law applies, you may have rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information we control, as well as rights to information about disclosure practices. The current version is not designed to sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Canada

To the extent applicable under Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA principles where relevant, you may request access to and correction of personal information we hold and may withdraw consent for certain processing, subject to legal or contractual limits.

Singapore

To the extent applicable under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act, you may request access to and correction of personal data we control and may withdraw consent for certain processing, subject to legal exceptions and operational limits recognized by law.

Australia

To the extent applicable under the Australian Privacy Principles and related law, you may request access to and correction of personal information we hold and may make a privacy complaint if you believe your information has been handled improperly.

8

How to Make a Privacy Request

We try to keep the request path straightforward.

  • Email us at Qinso-yb@163.com.
  • Describe your request clearly and identify the jurisdiction you are relying on, if relevant.
  • For local-only gameplay data, consider first deleting the relevant record card, using the in-app reset feature, or uninstalling the App.
  • We may ask for reasonable verification before acting on a request involving information we actually hold.
  • If a legal exception applies, we may limit or decline the request to the extent permitted by law.
9

Security

We take reasonable steps, but no system can promise perfect security.

The current version relies heavily on local iOS storage and the device's own security controls. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the current feature set, but no method of storage, transmission, or device use is completely secure. Please also protect your device with appropriate operating-system and account safeguards.

10

International Handling

Most normal gameplay stays on your device, but support communications may move through email systems.

In normal gameplay, the App is not designed to send local progress or selected completion-card images to us. If you contact us by email, your message may be processed or stored by email providers and supporting infrastructure in the jurisdictions where those services operate. By emailing us, you understand that such cross-border handling may occur as part of ordinary electronic communication.

11

Children

The App is a general-audience game, and adults should supervise younger users.

The current version is not designed around online account collection from children. If a child uses the App, a parent or guardian should supervise device use, especially before selecting a photo to store in a local completion card. If you believe a child has sent us personal information directly by email without appropriate permission, contact us and we will review the request in line with applicable law.

12

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this page when the App or legal requirements change.

If we add new product features or need to reflect updated legal or operational requirements, we may revise this Privacy Policy. If we do, the revised version will display a new effective date. Material changes should be reflected before or when the relevant feature launches.
